“I have painted since I was a tiny child, frustrated by the limitations of poster paints as I mixed the colours together and ended up with the inevitable brown puddle in the middle of the paper.”

Johanna works mainly in acrylics on canvas, painting landscapes and seascapes inspired by walks with the dogs. Favourite artists include David Hockney, Lucian Freud, Herbert Whone, Alfred Wallis, Dame Laura Knight, Henry Moore and Jamie Boyd.
